Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan present the 2017 BBC Sports Personality of the Year. In front of a 10,000-strong crowd, live from Liverpool's Echo Arena, the show looks back at all the magical sporting moments of the past 12 months and rewards some of the year's standout achievers. The main Sports Personality of the Year award, now in its 64th year, is decided by a public vote on the night. The awards for Team, Coach, Unsung Hero, Young Sports Personality, Overseas, Helen Rollason and Lifetime Achievement are also be given out, while the inspirational films, interviews and live performances recapture moments from the year which saw many British sports stars and teams become world champions.
